Sunnybank Hotel Brisbane provides a stay that aligns with the expectations of a three-star accommodation, offering good value for money with clean and tidy rooms. Guests appreciated the reasonable and affordable price, alongside a decent discount for drinks and food from the hotel's own services. While the facilities are considered basic and average for a three-star hotel, the location is highly commended. Though some feel it could use a touch more class compared to other three-star hotels, the overall sentiment reflects that it meets basic needs well and offers a satisfactory experience for the price paid. The showers in particular received positive remarks, adding to the overall appeal for budget-conscious travelers.

Summary of reviews related to the '3 Star' category

Comfort Hotel Pacific Cleveland offers a basic and acceptable experience that aligns with its three-star rating. Guests found the large rooms to be clean, comfortable and situated in a quiet location near shops and eateries. While it's not a luxurious five-star property, it provides a reasonable stay for those with modest expectations.
However, the hotel does have its drawbacks. The ambience is somewhat marred by the presence of long-term guests with children often playing in the corridors. The property itself appears quite rundown with issues like rooms being under-equipped and areas requiring more maintenance. Problems with amenities such as air conditioning, door locks and showers were also reported. Additionally, housekeeping services were lacking with some rooms not being serviced during stays.
The hotel’s restaurant seemed perpetually unmanned and the quality of the coffee sachets left much to be desired. Overall, the venue could use significant improvements to meet higher health standards and maintain guest satisfaction. Despite these issues, the hotel can be a viable option for budget-conscious travelers looking for a simple place to stay.
