The Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge is a golfer's paradise! The golf courses near the hotel offer stunning views and are definitely worth checking out. However, be aware that during peek times, you may need to wait for a golf cart. The golf cart rental process could be smoother and the hourly rate is quite expensive. To avoid any inconvenience, it's recommended to book a golf cart in advance of your stay. But once you're out on the course, the view is simply awesome! And if you need a break from golf, the resort offers a range of other activities including a refreshing lake, a relaxing pool and plenty of restaurants on site. While some reviewers found the golf course to be a little hilly, they still enjoyed their experience overall. Just be aware that not all amenities are accommodating to handicapped guests. On the upside, guests have noted that the Golf cart rental staff are very nice and helpful.
