Location
The Okura Tokyo is located in a great and quiet spot in Tokyo within walking distance or a short cab ride from Akasaka, Azabujuban and Roppongi. The view from the rooms is amazing with glimpses of Tokyo Tower and even Mt. Fuji from the corner suites. The hotel offers excellent service and facilities and is located in the Toranomon Hills business district with upscale dining options nearby. However, there aren't many restaurant options within walking distance and the entrance to the hotel can be a bit hard to find. While the location may be a bit inconvenient for those relying on public transportation, it's a serene and peaceful location with few non-hotel guests around. The only downside is that there may be some construction nearby, although the completion of new buildings is expected to make the location even better in the future.

Breakfast
If you're looking for a hotel with a first-class breakfast, The Okura Tokyo is the place to be. Reviews raved about the "heavenly" buffet breakfast with "many choices available and quality was excellent." The included breakfast was also a hit with guests calling it "amazing." Even guests with dietary restrictions were impressed with one guest asking for oat milk and receiving the "best hot oatmeal I have ever had" served with delicious brown sugar. However, some reviewers did note that the breakfast was a little expensive and not necessarily worth it. If you decide to visit, be sure to book early for lunch at the Orchid Restaurant, which is known to get busy. Despite the occasional queue, guests enjoyed the Japanese restaurant for dinner and French toast for breakfast. The hotel's gym was also a hit and the concierge service available and helpful. Overall, while some guests had minor complaints about breakfast selection or queues, most reviewers didn't let that detract from their enjoyment of the luxury of The Okura Tokyo.

The new and great rooms are efficient, spacious and equipped with all amenities expected of a high-end establishment, including steam baths, saunas and breathtaking views of Tokyo and Mt. Fuji. The rooms in the Prestige Tower are modern, bright and well laid out, while those in the heritage building are spacious and beautifully furnished. The attention to detail in everything from the bathtubs with built-in TVs, Dyson hairdryers, glasses, robes and pajamas, to the serene and quiet atmosphere through soundproof doors and high ceilings, is impressive. Guests enjoy the real Japanese style and mid-century lobby and appreciate that the hotel doesn't feel like an American tourist hotel. The only downside is that some guests complain of the hotel's distance from certain areas, but overall, the rooms at The Okura Tokyo are a highlight of any stay.

Cleanliness is the key to this hotel and guests can feel the hospitality of the staff in every aspect of their stay. Overall, The Okura Tokyo is a must-stay hotel for travelers who value cleanliness, comfort and service.
