The hotel offers a good variety of high-quality breakfast options and the dinner is fabulous with exceptional quality and attentive service. The staff are the shining stars of this hotel, friendly, genuine and accommodating, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel has spacious, clean and well-equipped rooms, some with balconies offering stunning views, although some rooms are dated and tired-looking. The hotel is dog-friendly and the location is fantastic for early morning walks down to the river. The pool and sauna could use improvements, but some guests enjoyed their time in the pool which was often described as adequate for 4-5 people. The hotel provides easily accessible and safe parking for their guests.
