The small and cozy hotel provides an ideal setting for those seeking tranquility away from the city, with direct access to a beach and nearby forest, as well as proximity to a bike path for outdoor enthusiasts. The breathtaking views, especially in the evenings, enhance the delightfully peaceful atmosphere.
The dining experience at Haus am See is lauded for its delicious cuisine and diverse menu, complemented by the spectacular lake views from the terrace. Diners appreciate both the quality and reasonable pricing, making meals memorable occasions. While service can sometimes be slow, it does not overshadow the overall positive dining experience.
Room reviews are mostly positive, emphasizing spaciousness and cleanliness, with delightful views of the lake contributing to a relaxed stay. Despite some furnishings needing updates, the design and amenities ensure comfort, aided by the friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel excels in cleanliness, maintaining tidy indoor spaces with staff regularly ensuring rooms are well-kept.
The exceptional staff receive commendations for their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality, enhancing guests' overall experience. However, feedback on beds is largely negative, with guests noting discomfort due to sagging and outdated mattresses, indicating a need for improvement.
