The rooftop bar is worth a visit, although it may be expensive. While some guests found the reception staff to be a bit unfriendly and there were complaints about the nightclub opposite the hotel, overall Hotel Kompas offers an excellent location for those who want to enjoy both history and nightlife in Dubrovnik.
