Location
Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is the perfect place to stay in Ouray with easy access to the downtown area and all the amazing sights it has to offer. The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and with stunning views of the river from certain rooms. The lodge is within walking distance to town and guests can easily visit Box Canon Falls, Cascade Falls and Main Street's stores and restaurants. Despite some rooms being across the street, guests can still enjoy the hot springs and pool area. The lodge also offers access to hiking trails right behind the property. Overall, the location is amazing and is the best place to stay if you want to experience everything Ouray has to offer.

Breakfast
The Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs boasts an excellent breakfast experience with many guests praising the variety of food and options available. The breakfast area is described as nice and big and the complimentary all-you-can-eat buffet is a hit with families. Guests love the hot breakfast with choices like biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict and hashbrowns and mention that the breakfast alone is worth the stay. However, some guests were disappointed with the limited offerings of packaged items and prepackaged continental breakfast with no hot food or proteins. Additionally, some guests had issues with the timing and availability of breakfast, equipment failures and poor restocking. Despite these issues, the staff at the lodge receive rave reviews and some guests mentioned that the restaurant food was great.

Rooms
Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs offers a comfortable stay with nice, clean and spacious rooms. Although some guests found the rooms a little cramped or outdated, newer river view rooms and the Owner's Suite were highly recommended. Some guests complained about the lack of maintenance, such as a defective shower head or a missing lamp, but most found the rooms to be clean and comfortable with very comfortable and clean beds. Guests staying in the lower section rooms, allocated to a different building from the main area, felt remote and removed. The rooms were a good value for families with a garden room and a balcony overlooking the river being key attractions. Some guests found the moldy ceilings and musty smell tolerable or unacceptable, however and recommended updating and remodeling the rooms. Despite some construction going on, the pool and hot tub areas were awesome, but guests thought a discount was appropriate. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing guests with access to nice rooms with great views.

Beds
If a good night's sleep is on the top of your travel wish list, then you might want to consider staying at Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs. While some guests noted that the rooms were older in appearance, they did appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. Many guests found the beds to be exceptionally comfortable with some describing them as "super comfortable." Some guests even went as far as to say that the beds were amazing and extremely comfortable. However, not all guests shared the same sentiment. A few guests mentioned that the mattresses were inferior and uncomfortable, causing them to wake up with sore bodies. While the beds may be hit or miss for some guests, those who did enjoy their stay found the beds to be a highlight of their experience at the hotel.

Cleanliness
Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean and comfortable stay in Ouray. Many guests reported that the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-kept with comfortable and spacious accommodations. The hot pools were also frequently mentioned as being clean and well-cared for. While some guests noted that the property could use upgrades and some rooms had issues such as black mold or wet sheets, these seemed to be the exception rather than the rule. Additionally, there were some complaints about gnats invading the pools and rooms, but overall the grounds and hot springs were described as very clean. While the free breakfast was not well-regarded, this is a small downside compared to the location and overall cleanliness of the property.

Staff
The staff at Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs are praised for going above and beyond for guests with many guests commenting on their friendliness and helpfulness. The customer service is described as excellent with many guests mentioning specific staff members who were particularly great, such as bartender Chad. The receptionist is noted as being clear and helpful and errors on the final bill were quickly resolved. Despite some negative comments about unhelpful and unfriendly staff, these were in the minority and most guests had positive interactions with the staff. The construction work on the property did not negatively impact the service and guests appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay at this beautiful hotel with its great location and amazing views.

Whether you're soaking up the hot springs pool, taking a dip in the swimming pool or relaxing in the hot tub, the pool and spa area is exceptional, making it worth the stay alone. Additionally, the hot springs are a great way to unwind after exploring the downtown area thanks to its convenient location. Guests appreciate the attentive service and how the wonderful hot springs were a highlight of their stay. This hot springs spa is definitely not to be missed!

Pool
If you're looking for a hotel with top-notch pool options, Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs in Ouray is the place to be. Guests have expressed their love for the hot tubs and newly renovated pools, which offer a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The outdoor pools provide a beautiful scenic view of the surroundings. The pools are heated so you’ll never get cold even during colder months. The hot springs tubs in the middle of the hotel complex are a must-visit, offering an unbelievable view. Moreover, this hotel’s pet friendly and also has a nice pool and hot tub area. Some guests have mentioned that the surly front desk staff made their experience less enjoyable, but others have raved about the pools and hot springs despite the construction going on. Just be careful because there are some pieces of rebar sticking up and also note that there is no safety rail on the bunk bed. Despite these small drawbacks, the pools and hot springs are worth a visit at Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs.

Parking
If you're planning a trip to Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs, parking may be an issue to consider. While some guests have found the parking convenient and a favorite place to park for a full night's rest, others have reported difficulties with it. Some have mentioned narrow parking spots and concerns about other vehicles hitting their car. Others have pointed out that parking is far from the room or limited due to construction. However, some have received refunds after being charged extra fees for parking. Still, guests can enjoy free parking in the morning. Overall, while parking may be a challenge for some, it is manageable with a little patience and planning.

Family
If you're planning a family vacation in Colorado, Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is a great option for you! This pet-friendly hotel offers great value for families with their family rooms and suites. Multiple rooms under one booking make it perfect for large parties. Some rooms may have minor issues like the TV not working, but staff are quick to address them. What sets this hotel apart, however, is its hot springs, which offer many different pools with varying temperatures - a hit with the whole family! As a bonus, the hotel is also enjoyed by grandparents and granddaughters alike, making it a truly family-friendly destination. So if you and your kids are looking for a fun time in Colorado, Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is the perfect choice for you!

3 Star
Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs offers an average level of accommodation with some downsides such as old rooms and broken amenities. The Mineshaft Restaurant has poor quality and high prices. However, the hotel provides good value for money compared to other options in the area. The hot pools have potential, but the prices are steep and the free breakfast is one of the worst on the entire road trip. The building is also not as pictured on the website and some guests encountered frustrating issues, such as unready rooms and mosquito infestations. Therefore, while there are some positive elements, overall, the hotel is not worth the high price.

Outdoor Pool
Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs boasts stunning and well-maintained outdoor pools and hot tubs, which are included in the room price. Guests have described the pool area as nice and the location as beautiful. Some have even used the hot springs during the day and the hotel's jacuzzi in the evening. While one guest mentioned that the pool and hot pools have 'potential,' others believe that they are already good and a highlight of the hotel. However, one review noted that doubling the price of motel rooms just for the pool and hot tubs is not necessary. Overall, the pool area receives positive reviews from guests.

Dog Friendly
If you're looking for a hotel that can accommodate your furry friends, Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs may be the perfect place for you. Guests have been happy to pay the additional fee to bring their pets along, although some have found it a bit steep. Nevertheless, the facilities are clean and pet-friendly and the hotel even allows pets to hang out by the pool while their owners enjoy a soak. The second floor is reserved for guests with pets, keeping them separate from other guests who may not be fond of animals. Being able to bring your dog to the hot springs is a plus, although one traveler did have an issue with a pet charge despite not having a pet. Overall, guests have enjoyed having their four-legged friends with them during their stay at Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs.
