The Marquis of Granby is a beautiful hotel located in the countryside just a few miles from the car ferry in Dover. Its perfect location makes it convenient for those traveling to the area for the channel tunnel, Folkestone or Dover ferries/cruises. Guests were impressed with its proximity to bigger towns, making it easy to venture out for day trips. The hotel is located near charming towns like Deal and St Margaret’s Bay, which are both easily accessible from The Marquis of Granby. The nearby village location adds to the hotel's charm. Guests also appreciated the lovely country pub with its excellent standard of rooms. The hotel's location definitely adds to its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with serene views and a beautiful old church nearby for exploration. Even though it's slightly remote, it's still an excellent value.
