Standard Double Room Bedroom 1 - Our smallest bedroom (single-use recommended) but, reasonably proportioned. Situated on the first floor to the back of the property. Sleep in a standard double bed. Tastefully decorated with neutral colours, spotlighting and solid oak furniture. It has a small en-suite shower room with a built-in baggage storage cupboard. This room has a private outdoor courtyard with access (via our kitchen) to the decking area. A small area to sit outside.

Deluxe King Room Bedroom 2 - A large spacious room, situated on the first floor to the front of the property overlooking the main street of Bondgate Without. It has a good size en-suite shower room and a built-in baggage storage cupboard. Potential for noise.

Deluxe Double Room with Balcony Bedroom 3 - A large, spacious room situated on the 2nd floor to the front of the property overlooking the main street of Bondgate Without. Sleep in a king-size bed. Includes a private Snug Room with a South facing sun balcony. A very well proportioned bedroom is tastefully decorated with neutral colors, spotlighting and quality furniture. You are on a private floor with no other guest bedrooms. External washroom facilities are just outside the bedroom door, with a huge 1200 x 900 shower enclosure. Potential for noise.

Despite some initial confusion over the lack of on-site staff, we found that the owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Tate House. The contact-free check-in process was seamless and we received excellent communication from the owner beforehand to ensure everything was in order. Leo was especially helpful during our stay and the staff were great in contacting us before to ensure we had a pleasurable experience. Although some reviewers noted a lack of direct contact with the owners, our experience was quite the opposite. In fact, we found their friendliness to be a standout aspect of our stay. Overall, it's clear that the Tate House staff are dedicated to ensuring guests have a positive experience, even amidst the challenges of COVID-19.
