Although the road in can be bumpy, it is worth the drive once you get there and even small cars can easily make it to the location. While taxis can be pricey, having a car is strongly recommended for independence and travel possibilities. While installation of more towel hooks in the bathrooms is suggested, the grounds are exceptionally clean. Although the beach may not be the best for swimming, the water is calm due to the reef protecting the bay. The property is not close to Tulum, so there may be traffic issues, but the drive is close enough to access everything you may want to visit. Guests with SUVs will have an easier time on the road in.
