From the general manager personally coming out to meet guests during breakfast to the well-polished staff performance, it's clear that the staff at Glenapp Castle is exceptional. Guests constantly felt like the staff was around if they needed them, but they didn't intrude. The staff was exceedingly attentive, friendly and professional, making guests feel welcome from arrival to departure. They are truly exceptional hosts. Although there were a few rare instances where some guests had issues with slow or offhand service, these were isolated. Overall, the staff at Glenapp Castle is amazing and the hotel oozes a warm country house atmosphere. The beautiful grounds are perfect for walking and the breakfast and food in general are fantastic. The only downside of the staff experience may be the difficult-to-understand Scottish accents, but everyone is still very polite and accommodating.
