If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close to local points of interest, Galgorm is an ideal location. The grounds are exceptional with lovely areas by the river to relax and unwind. The lodges are a bit of a walk from the main hotel, but the suites are spacious and comfortable when you finally arrive. The thermal village is worth exploring as well and is within walking distance. Some reviewers mention construction noise, but this seems to be a rare occurrence. For those looking for a bit more independence, having your own space to cook is a nice touch. Lastly, don't miss out on the unique and charming Shepherds Huts experience - just beware the occasional noisy neighbour! While there were a few hiccups in terms of distances and directions, most guests seem to agree that Galgorm is a fantastic location with beautiful amenities.

Visitors to the Thermal Village found it to be very relaxing and clean whilst the cottages were also considered to be clean and private. Although some parts of the kitchen were not clean and there were a few little things that could be improved upon, everything else was perfect with guests stating that the Shepherd's Hut was stunning and the room and spa were lovely. However, some reviewers did note that there were some areas where construction work was taking place causing some places to become messy and that there were cobwebs in the bathroom and the corridors were slightly shabby. Despite these minor issues, the majority of guests found Galgorm to be a beautiful setting and a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

They loved the Celtic sauna experience, where the host was lovely and the soothing music and smells were amazing. The plunge was refreshing and the watermelon ice water provided by the staff was a nice touch. Although some guests were unable to use the spa due to overcrowding, others enjoyed the numerous pools, saunas and treatments available. The spa offers some great services and the day spa is exceptional. Guests found the spa to be exceptional, top class and the best they’ve seen. They did note that the spa could be more spacious and open during full spa hours. The thermal village was stunning, relaxing and clean with great food options. The shepherds hut was stunning and the celtic sauna surprisingly delightful. The spa at Galgorm is truly amazing, offering outstanding treatments and facilities that simply cannot be missed.
