Greenways Apartments offers a solid three-star experience with a reasonable price point. Despite some minor drawbacks, guests find the accommodations largely satisfactory. The apartments boast clean, tidy spaces with a fresh smell, featuring amenities such as a well-stocked kitchen and a spacious lounge area. Guests appreciate the good shower pressure and comfortable beds, making it feel like a home away from home. While the apartments have an older, dated charm, they are well-maintained and offer great value.
However, there are areas for improvement, such as outdated decor and the need for better furniture. Noise from traffic and nearby nightlife can disrupt tranquility, and communication with staff is primarily remote, which poses challenges for some guests. Parking arrangements could also be enhanced for convenience. Overall, Greenways Apartments offers a pleasant, economical stay that balances comfort and affordability, making it a good option for travelers seeking a clean and tidy retreat.

Adelaide Travellers Inn Backpackers Hostel receives notable praise for its superb location and exceptional staff service. Situated in a quieter part of Adelaide, the hostel offers excellent accessibility to public transport, making it ideal for travelers wishing to explore the city and its surroundings. Its proximity to popular attractions such as the botanical gardens, bustling markets, and the vibrant Rundle Street—known for its lively bars and restaurants—further enhances its appeal. This central location is complemented by nearby cafes, a small supermarket, and the welcoming community vibe of Hutt Street, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking both convenience and vibrant city life.
The staff at the hostel are frequently highlighted for their friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness. Guests commend the team, including members like Rob and Rachael, for creating a warm and community-focused atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond to assist guests, whether by providing essential information, ensuring safety, or even helping with work opportunities, which significantly enriches the visitor experience.
However, the hostel faces challenges with cleanliness and maintenance. Common areas and guest rooms often fall short of modern cleanliness standards, with issues such as dirt, clutter, and unpleasant odors reported. Efforts to maintain tidiness each morning appear inadequate to sustain cleanliness throughout the day, which can detract from the expected comfort and hygiene.
The WiFi service primarily functions in common areas, where it serves as a focal point for guests to socialize, although its speed and stability can be inconsistent. Travelers who require reliable internet access are encouraged to utilize these communal spaces during work sessions or online activities.
While the beds meet basic comfort needs for budget travelers, they could benefit from updates to improve the overall sleeping experience. Despite being somewhat rickety and aged, they offer satisfactory rest once settled in, catering to those who value location and community over luxury amenities.
Overall, Adelaide Travellers Inn Backpackers Hostel is favored for its prime location and outstanding staff, although improvements in cleanliness and amenities would enhance the stay for guests seeking modern standards of accommodation.
