The pool is a hit with kids and even has water slides that keep children occupied for hours. There is even a kids bar at the pool and a restaurant nearby for snacks and meals after swimming. The setup works well with younger kids and grandkids. The hotel is very family-oriented and caters to the needs of special needs children too. The location on Mission Bay away from downtown is also an added advantage, making it an excellent location for fun family vacations. Although the hotel is mainly for families, couples can enjoy the hotel too; however, it might not be as relaxing. This resort is an incredible place for a mini-vacation and we recommend it for families with small kids. Overall, guests had an amazing family time and many agreed that the activities for kids were excellent. They will undoubtedly return to Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina with their grandchildren and Godchildren for another super-fun trip.
