Hotel Piedra is a three-star establishment that offers remarkable value for its rating. Guests have appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities and spacious rooms, especially highlighting the great terrace available. While the amenities are somewhat limited and there are no cribs or self-service options, the hotel's adherence to COVID-19 rules ensures a safe stay. Furthermore, its location close to Candás makes it a convenient option for travelers. Despite its age, many find it suitable for a quiet rest and note the competitive prices in relation to the value provided. Arbeyal in Gijón offers a very basic room setup that aligns with its 3-star rating but falls short in delivering expected amenities and maintenance standards. The accommodation is correct and is praised for its very good price-quality ratio, making it an economical choice for travelers. However, the room quality is described as average and does not meet the typical standards expected of a 3-star hotel with some guests questioning its rating. Located in the more modest part of Gijón, the hotel's site is not ideal, especially given its distance from the city center which some feel does not justify the nightly rates. Overall, while it offers a decent stay, there is considerable room for improvement to truly match its 3-star designation.

Hotel 44 offers a decent experience with a focus on delivering good value for money. Despite its 3-star rating, some guests feel it aligns more with a 2-star standard. Nonetheless, it remains a good choice for travelers seeking a reasonably priced accommodation. The overall quality is considered satisfactory for its category with a few even finding the experience comparable to a 4-star hotel for a 3-star price.
The facilities are generally seen as adequate, though there are mentions that they are older and could benefit from some maintenance. Specific areas for improvement include the soundproofing of rooms and the quality of the breakfast buffet, which did not meet some guests' expectations for a 3-star establishment. Additionally, some rooms could use better pillows.
In summary, Hotel 44 stands out for its affordability and reasonable quality, making it a suitable option for those looking for budget-friendly accommodation without high expectations for luxury.
