Secluded away from downtown, it offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city while also being conveniently close. A quick water taxi or shuttle ride into town makes exploring Charleston a breeze. The scenery is simply breathtaking with a view of the harbor that allows guests to watch river traffic and take in the beautiful surroundings. Neighboring Shem's Creek offers a great dinner option. While there's no good food close, the resort provides convenient water taxi service to get guests where they need to go. Outdoor amenities, combined with the location and view, make this resort the perfect spot for a relaxing Charleston retreat.

The customer service at the front desk and the pool service are loved by guests. The staff are polite, very nice and helpful. Emma, in particular, was very helpful and friendly. However, some guests experienced limited staff and service and problems with the registration system and/or staff training. The Fish House staff could have been better and some guests found the evening staff impolite and unhelpful. The concierge was not friendly and there was no bellhop to help with luggage upon arrival. Nevertheless, the majority of guests found the staff amazing, especially those at the Spa and enjoyed their stay at the hotel with breath-taking views and awesome rooms.

Pool

The pool at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is one of the highlights of the hotel. Guests absolutely loved the pool service and wished it was peak season so they could enjoy more pool time. The tiki bar at the pool is also noteworthy, serving solid food and drinks. The pool area and bar were kept clean and comfortable. A heated pool and an amazing hot tub were another plus. Guests also enjoyed the poolside drink and food service and the overall service in the pool areas was fantastic. However, there were a couple of downsides as well. Some areas were closed for private events and there was no poolside service. Additionally, some guests complained about unattended young children running around, which detracted from the experience. Nonetheless, overall, the pool at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is a great place to relax and soak up some sun while enjoying excellent food and drinks.
