Hotel Klasen boasts an exceptional location with stunning views of the Mosel, the city and the Reichsburg castle. The hotel is in a quiet area that provides a relaxing environment for guests. Its proximity to the nearest restaurants, shops and supermarkets makes it an ideal base for exploring Cochem and the surrounding areas. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded central district. It has on-site parking and is within walking distance to the river cruise. The rooms on the Mosel side provide an outstanding view of the river and castle. Although some guests noted that the rooms facing the street can be noisy due to traffic, the hotel's advantageous location with proximity to the city center, bike rentals and shopping makes it a great choice for a relaxing holiday.

Although Hotel Klasen doesn't have its own restaurant, guests have been able to enjoy drinks on the balcony until 9 pm and the Weinstube (wine tavern) is a great place for a pleasant stay. The wine recommendations from Mrs. Klasen are fantastic and convinced guests to buy their own bottles. Despite the restaurant being permanently closed, guests were satisfied with the opportunity to order plenty of drinks even when the Weinstube was closed. The website information was outdated, but guests managed to find alternatives to dine out.
