For those looking to unwind on cooler days, the indoor pool with its slide proved to be the perfect afternoon activity according to guests. Additionally, the use of the pool is included in the price of the stay and some appreciated the added bonus of having access to an inclusive water park. While a few mentioned that the pool was on the smaller side, guests reported that it and the accompanying apartments were kept clean. However, some guests did note that the water was too cold for children to enjoy and that there were limited lounging options available. It should be noted that the sauna and pool do close early, ending access for the day by 7 pm.

Nestled in an idyllic and prime location in Binz on Rügen Island, Strandresidenzen Binz stands out for its remarkable proximity to the beautiful beach. Just a few steps from the sandy shores, it offers guests easy access to the tranquil beach promenade and the heart of Binz, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls or a quick dip in the Baltic Sea. This balance of serenity and accessibility coupled with well-maintained facilities and spacious accommodations contributes positively to guests' overall experiences.
The breakfast at Strandresidenzen Binz receives high praise for its extensive, varied buffet offering and freshly prepared items such as omelettes and salmon. The service is often noted as attentive and friendly, enhancing the positive atmosphere. While occasional critiques mention overcrowding and repetitiveness, the breakfast is generally seen as a substantial and delicious way to start the day.
Dinner also garners positive feedback, particularly for the varied and delicious buffet options and the friendly staff. The evening buffet includes steak, seafood and a separate children's buffet, which adds to its appeal. Despite some comments about the high cost and occasional quality inconsistencies, the overall dining experience is largely satisfactory, enhanced by the ease of making reservations and the cozy atmosphere of the stunning Sky Bar.
The rooms at Strandresidenzen Binz are frequently complimented for their spaciousness, cleanliness and modern amenities, making them suitable for both short and extended stays. Guests appreciate the beautiful terraces or balconies and the comfort provided by the essential kitchen facilities. However, some feedback indicates minor maintenance issues and occasional signs of wear.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel is recognized as an area needing improvement. While many guests find their accommodations clean and comfortable, there are recurring complaints about superficial cleaning standards and areas that are often overlooked, such as under beds and in corners. More consistent and thorough cleaning practices could significantly enhance the guest experience.
The hotel staff are generally perceived positively with frequent mentions of their friendliness, attentiveness and helpfulness. Despite occasional lapses in service during peak times and some language barriers, the staff's efforts contribute positively to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.
Wi-Fi service, while free, receives mixed reviews. Some guests experience good connectivity, but many report significant connectivity issues, including interruptions and slow speeds in the rooms, indicating a need for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction.
The proximity to the beach is a significant highlight, offering guests easy access to the beautiful Baltic Sea shore and a picturesque, clean setting for memorable beachside experiences. Families with children particularly appreciate this convenience.
Parking receives mixed feedback due to its high cost and occasional issues with space. Despite being described as convenient and secure, the relatively high daily fee and the tightness of the parking spots detract from the overall convenience for some guests.
For eco-conscious travelers, the availability of an electric vehicle charging station is a positive touch, although limited charger availability and occasional misuse by non-electric vehicles suggest room for improvement.
The beds in the hotel elicit mixed emotions. While many guests found them comfortable and spacious, there are notable complaints about excessively soft and saggy mattresses with some double beds comprising two single beds pushed together that tend to slide apart.
Overall, Strandresidenzen Binz offers a highly favorable beachside location with satisfactory dining options, spacious and modern accommodations and generally friendly staff. However, some areas, particularly in cleanliness, Wi-Fi connectivity and bed comfort, would benefit from enhancements to meet the high expectations of its guests.
