Although dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the overall stay is relaxing and enjoyable. Families with children are warmly welcomed and there is a playground located next to the sauna area. While the hotel's kid-friendliness may not be the highest, there are neighboring attractions such as an adventure playground and a nearby animal park that make for fun family highlights. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are impressive and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and exploration, including the use of rented E-bikes. It's a perfect option for a family vacation and pets are welcome too. Note that children under 14 are not allowed in the wellness area. We're definitely planning to return to Hotel Heidegrund.
