The level of service provided was said to be perfect, exceeding all expectations, making guests feel like they were in a paradise. Though some felt like prices for rooms and drinks were overcharged, they agreed that the hotel truly lived up to its name as a luxury boutique hotel. The entire resort is designed to underline the fact that it is an exclusive and luxurious destination. Guests were especially impressed by the equipment, ambiance and standing of the luxurious suites, highlighting the comfortable bedding and the relaxing baignoire balnéothérapie. Even though they acknowledged that prices for villas were high, they agreed that the villas themselves were perfect. Despite one comment about it not being a five-star hotel, the overwhelming majority of guests felt that Elounda Gulf Villas by Sandglass exceeded all their expectations and was an exceptional hotel offering an indulgent experience.
