If you're looking for a hotel close to the beach and city center, Gmare is a great option. The location is exceptional with the local beach within 5 minutes walking distance and various restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Although the surrounding area might not be the most appealing, the village is quiet and there are taverns and an excellent supermarket within 300m. Plus, the hotel is only 2 minutes away from a bakery. While some guests mentioned that the beach isn't the greatest, it's still very close to the hotel. The location is also great for exploring other beaches in Sithonia and Kassandra. All in all, the fantastic location of Gmare makes it an ideal choice for those looking to discover both sides of Halkidiki.

The rooms are well-maintained and cleaned daily, making sure that everything is new and fully functional. There is plenty of private parking space available, a nice perk especially with all the sand. While guests enjoy their day at the beach, the AC units are put on for them, so when they come back, the room is already nice and cool, which is not usually offered in Greece where you usually have to pay extra to get the AC remote. The hotel's ground floor rooms come with an added bonus of a little garden space outside, while rooms on the upper floor offer smaller balconies but are still cosy and comfortable.
