It is a beautiful and elegant hotel that met the expectations of its guests for a 2 night stay. The hotel is reasonably priced and provides exceptional value for money. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is excellent for a weekend break with nothing in particular to complain about. The guests would recommend this hotel for stays in the local area despite it not being officially rated as 4-star. However, some guests comment that, for the price of £140 a night, the hotel needs more attention to detail. Additionally, some areas of the hotel are old and tired. Despite this, the hotel provides very good and superb services and facilities, including a proper chef in the kitchen. On the downside, some guests felt that the chef was absent, affecting the quality of the food and that no apologies were provided.
