Located just off the A1, it is easy to find with plenty of parking. The hotel is conveniently located for visits to Grantham and the National Trust Belton House property opposite. Additionally, it is perfect for walking in the surrounding area and forest walks. The location is described as very good, positive and pleasant. However, some guests had to walk a long way to their rooms and the hotel is a bit out of the way from everything, limiting the nearby options for meals and drinks. Nonetheless, the wooded location with walks was lovely and the grounds were beautiful and well kept, providing a great atmosphere to enjoy challenging golf courses. Nevertheless, guests should be careful in the car park since it was not salted and was very slippery on both days some guests were there.
