Land-gut-Hotel Westerkrug offers commendable accessibility features for guests with disabilities, proving to be both disabled-friendly and wheelchair accessible. The parking facilities are easily reachable, enhancing overall convenience. The hotel is not just suited for short stays but is also recommended for longer accommodations.
Certain elements such as heavy doors and doorsteps to the annex may pose minor challenges for wheelchair users, but the presence of alternative, more accessible rooms mitigates these concerns. Guests have highlighted the good accessibility and praised the great service provided by the hotel staff. On the downside, some guests found the dinner to be below expectations in terms of quality, specifically mentioning a dry and tasteless steak.
Overall, Land-gut-Hotel Westerkrug ensures a largely accessible environment for all guests, though minor improvements could enhance the experience further.

Hotel des Nordens offers a mixed experience for travelers with disabilities. On the positive side, the hotel boasts easy car accessibility and plenty of free parking spaces. It's conveniently located near Flensburg, making it easy to reach by car or even by a pleasant 15-minute walk. The hotel also has handicap-accessible rooms, providing essential accommodations for wheelchair users. Guests will find that the main amenities are within easy reach, enhancing the overall convenience of their stay.
However, there are notable drawbacks. Navigating the hotel can be challenging due to many steps and steep ramps. The elevator, described as small, can be problematic for those with wheelchairs or strollers. The condition of the elevator and other assistive devices leaves much to be desired. Rooms specifically ordered for accessibility were sometimes found to be very noisy or not fully compliant with accessibility needs. Additionally, some basic features like handrails in the bathrooms are missing and the carpets could be problematic for people with allergies.
In summary, while the hotel offers some accessible features, improvements in infrastructure and maintenance are needed to better serve guests with disabilities.
