The property itself is lovely and the location is perfect for various requirements, including being close to the city centre, training facilities and wedding venues. The hotel also has private parking and is located near some great pubs and restaurants for dinner. Although there were some issues with the sink in the bathroom and limited breakfast options, the hotel's location, friendly staff and beautiful building make up for it. Overall, The Godwins has a great location that provides easy access to surrounding areas and the Winchester city centre.

Plus, the atmosphere is family-friendly, which adds to the overall charm of the place.

While The Godwins doesn't have a restaurant for breakfast or dinner, the food is lovely and the staff is happy to recommend great local dining options. Although accommodations for three may be a bit tight due to the open sofa bed taking up most of the lounge, it's perfect for families of four or fewer.
