The hotel also offers some great perks for families, including kids up to a certain age stay and eat for free and kids meals may be basic and unappetising. Breakfast, on the other hand, has lots of options and children eat free, which is always a plus. However, parental meal times may be limited as the earliest time to book for evening meal was 5.30 pm. The room was big enough for a family of four and the staff went above and beyond for special occasions, such as setting up decorations in the room for a birthday and even giving a birthday card from the staff. The hotel needs more options for families and the expensive adult meals and limited kids' menu warrants a mention. Overall, we would recommend this lovely family-friendly hotel to friends and family visiting Edinburgh, especially for its location and good bus route access to the city.
