The hotel has a lovely big family room, perfect for a family staycation. While some guests would have liked shampoo and conditioner in their rooms, everyone agrees that the staff were fantastic, especially when it came to helping those with disabled children. The hotel also has a pet zoo on-site, which is a hit with kids. The pool is another great feature with kids having a great time in it, although some guests were disappointed when it closed early. Breakfast is served until 10.30am, which is a bonus for teenagers who like a lie-in. The hotel is in a brilliant location, especially if you're visiting the Gaeltacht. However, some guests were not keen on their grandchildren playing outside the hotel. Overall, An Chúirt Hotel is an excellent family getaway and we would recommend it to others.

However, some guests found the pool changing rooms to be tight and uncomfortable for young kids and the elderly. The spa is not child-friendly and there are restrictions on swimming with children in the pool. The leisure centre is more suitable for children but others found it disappointing. Unfortunately, cycling around the grounds is not recommended. Despite these shortcomings, guests raved about the fabulous wedding reception and the beautiful gardens and grounds. The only downside was the long wait to be seated for pre-booked breakfasts each morning.

The hotel provides a lovely playground and a magnificent pool that the entire family can enjoy. The hotel was very accommodating for children and families enjoyed their stay. The dining room was always filled with families, creating a happy and vibrant atmosphere. Kids can further indulge in fun activities at the playground and pool. Our toddler loved the pool and the playground and the hotel staff was exceptional. We opted for an upgrade to a bigger room, which was perfect for our two kids. We had a beautiful family stay in this hotel and our kids enjoyed the pool to the fullest. Cavan Crystal Hotel is a perfect destination for a family trip.
