However, there are mixed opinions on the location with some calling it less than ideal and far from everything. Despite this, Mestil Hotel is considered by many as the best hotel in Kampala with beautiful surroundings and top-notch amenities.

While some considered the options for room service breakfast to be limited, the buffet itself provided a diverse range of food. Although a few wished for more variation, overall, the breakfast was highly recommended and rated as a 10/10 by some. On a Christmas Eve, a special buffet was also provided and deemed amazing by guests. While there was one comment on the breakfast being insufficient for a 5-star hotel, the majority of reviews highlighted the great service and friendly staff.

The welcoming staff, especially Steven at reception, are incredibly friendly and always happy to help. From the receptionists to the ladies at the spa, the staff are polite, professional, efficient and kind. Elizabeth, in particular, went above and beyond when I needed medical assistance. The customer service at Mestil Hotel & Residences is excellent and the facilities and staff are outstanding. Ronny at the bar knows how I like my cocktails, Rujeri is an excellent waiter and Carol Aber does a fantastic job with housekeeping. However, it's worth noting that a few guests had negative experiences with some of the receptionists. Nonetheless, overall, the staff at Mestil Hotel & Residences are exceptional and you are guaranteed to have an amazing stay.

Mestil Hotel & Residences is a luxurious hotel with lovely facilities including an incredible health club and spa. The spa is an awesome place to relax and rejuvenate with impeccable cleanliness. Guests have enjoyed a great spa experience, describing their massage therapists as amazing, especially Stella who stood out due to her fantastic treatment approach. Many guests recommended the spa, stating that the ladies there really know how to do their job. If you're looking for a place to unwind and leave your stress behind, the spa at Mestil Hotel & Residences is definitely worth checking out.
