Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is a lovely venue, situated in beautiful grounds with a stunning building design. The beauty of the hotel's exterior is matched by the interior design of the rooms, which are well appointed and beautifully decorated. Some guests reported that their rooms were a little tired and could do with some updating, but overall they were comfortable and clean. The Lord Cullen room was noted as being super with a fantastic bed, whilst other guests reported that their rooms were lovely and comfy. The hotel could improve on the cleanliness of some of its rooms with mentions of grubby carpets and dust, but once addressed, guests found their surroundings to be clean, quiet and spacious. Some rooms were cramped, whilst others were spacious - with some guests commenting on the lack of a bath in their smaller rooms. However, the bathroom in our room was clean but could benefit from grouting and seal replacement. A few guests had to swap rooms, as there was a smell of smoke or no TV remote present. Additionally, some rooms were not serviced until requested, but once done, guests found the service excellent. Overall, the rooms at Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa are nice and offer a comfortable stay, but there are areas for improvement.
