The location is excellent, facing the ocean, private and quiet with beautiful morning coffee views. The rooms are directly on the sea with a tropical garden and everything you need to prepare meals. The inn is equipped with a little kitchen area and is beautifully decorated. The ocean area offers fantastic access and there are many other nearby beaches to explore, such as the Baby beach, which is only a 3-minute drive. The sea wall is beautiful and enjoyable. The only bummer is that it's a walk to get to beach access, but the inn provides snorkeling gear and beach chairs for free, so you can save some cash. Overall, MaKai Sunset Inn is a convenient location with easy access to beaches and Lahaina town and waking up to the beautiful ocean sounds is a treat.
