The hotel is clean and neat and the staff is friendly. The location by the lake is a definite advantage, providing a nice view. While some guests found the hotel to be outdated and run down, most guests found it to be a good place to stay. Families will especially enjoy their stay, as 7 members of one family thoroughly enjoyed their time there. However, the hotel needs some updating, as it is an older building and not kept up very well. Some guests found their stay to be irritating with hot water only available at certain times. Additionally, noise at night posed a problem for some guests. Despite these minor issues, Days Inn & Suites is a superb choice for families. However, for those unwilling to overlook the hotel's flaws, there are many other hotels in St. Ignace to choose from.
