The Jersey Arms Hotel Bicester is recognized for its positive approach to accommodating canine companions. Guests appreciate the hotel's welcoming stance towards dogs, highlighting the good outdoor space available for their pets to enjoy. The staff demonstrates exceptional hospitality by going the extra mile, such as warming up frozen chicken for pets, adding a personal and caring touch to the stay.
There is, however, some inconsistency in the charges for dogs, with fees varying between £15 to £20, or sometimes no charge at all. This discrepancy has caused a bit of surprise for some guests, particularly as these charges are not always clearly communicated on booking platforms.
Although the outdoor garden area has potential, guests have mentioned the need for improvements, particularly regarding the muddy condition, which impacts its functionality. Additionally, a general refurbishment of the hotel's amenities, along with reopening its restaurant and bar facilities, could elevate the property's appeal given its charming location. Overall, Jersey Arms Hotel Bicester shows promise as a dog-friendly destination, with a bit of enhancement to its facilities and clearer communication about fees.
