The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and there are plenty of seating areas for relaxation. The hotel provides lots of activities for kids including an outdoor play area and a kids club throughout the day. There is even a free kids dinner! However, some guests did note that the soft play area could be developed more and that the games room could be bigger with more space and activities for families. Despite this, there is plenty to keep kids entertained on-site with tennis, crazy golf and soccer available. The staff are friendly and cater to all ages, making it a great option for a family staycation. The only downside is that the bar food menu doesn't cater well for families with young children with some guests having to go to the golf club to find appropriate food options. Overall, the Slieve Russell Hotel is a child-friendly hotel that provides a great opportunity for both relaxation and family time.
