The old English colonial style of the hotel has been appreciated by many, making it a star comfort hotel. The location is superb and provides a magnificent view overlooking Madurai city with the peacocks and birds on the property adding to the peacefulness of the place. However, some guests have expressed disappointment with the bed being hard and uncomfortable not meeting the 5-star standards and the standard internet plan provided not working with the premium plan being offered at a high price which guests found atrocious.
