The fantastic restaurant and great bar area contribute significantly to the positive dining experience with many highlighting the superb breakfast and friendly breakfast staff. While the bar was a little underwhelming to some, the quality of food and the upscale environment truly stands out in Islay. A minor criticism was the limited useful storage space in the rooms and occasional heavy traffic noise from the nearby ferry terminal at night.
