Hotel Mio Vallarta Unique & Different - Adults Only boasts an excellent location for those who want to explore the city, situated halfway between the airport and downtown. While the hotel is next to a busy road and traffic noise can be heard in some rooms, the area is clean and safe and it's easy to walk around and find nice restaurants and additional businesses within walking distance. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away and there are several shopping malls within a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Although the hotel does not have direct beach access, guests can take a footpath from the La Isla shopping mall to reach the beach. The views of the beach and the city from some rooms are stunning and the pool area is a great spot to relax. The only downside is that the location may be substandard for some guests who prefer to be closer to the beach or the main area of Puerto Vallarta, which is about a 45-minute to 1-hour walk away. Taxis or buses are an option and there's also a parking garage for those who arrive by car.
