Its excellent location makes it the perfect base for exploring Christchurch with many attractions, restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and offer a peaceful retreat from the city. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The beds are a major highlight, providing a comfortable and heavenly experience. Although some guests found the rooms small and the beds average for the cost, the upgrades and grandeur of the larger rooms more than make up for this. Overall, Merivale Manor is a great value stay with lovely staff that will make you feel at home.
