Former Castle Guest HouseThis fortified castle was built by La Tour d'Auvergne family during the 13th century on top of a village. It was transformed in the 17th century to be brighter and more luxurious, thanks to its wealthy and renowned residents, Catherine de' Medici and Margaret of Valois. From 1987, the castle has been repeatedly restored for modern comforts and style. Today, it is a perfect destination for receptions and weddings, thanks to its picturesque rooms and surroundings which are reminiscent of an era of gilded knights and travelling painters.
