Mercure Valenciennes Centre, a hotel rated four stars, has generated a mix of impressions from its guests. While some travelers found the hotel to be excellent and affordable, particularly highlighting the value-for-money aspect, there were recurring concerns regarding its adherence to the expected four-star standard. The reception staff's demeanor towards housekeeping staff during guest requests was noted as less than pleasant by some, contributing to a perception of very poor service for the price point. Despite these issues, certain guests have appreciated the deals available through booking platforms, which include breakfast, making it a choice that offers good value when discounts are considered.
