ApartHOTEL Chasa Valär, located in the heart of Scuol, provides a charming and tranquil retreat, perfect for exploring the picturesque village and its surroundings. Guests love its central yet peaceful location in the old village center, highlighting easy access to main attractions such as shopping, dining, mineral baths and transport links. The historical house adds character and comfort with beautiful mountain views from the balconies.
The breakfast at Chasa Valär receives rave reviews for its generous and varied buffet. Fresh bread and local products add a delightful, traditional Swiss touch, making it a perfect start to the day. Guests appreciate the plentiful options, early serving times and the pleasant breakfast room, all contributing to a positive dining experience.
The rooms cater to both solo travelers and those seeking larger spaces, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Despite some being on the smaller side, they are described as cozy and well-equipped with well-maintained kitchens and a rustic interior design enhancing the authentic Swiss atmosphere. The larger rooms and apartments are noted for their spaciousness and bright living areas.
Cleanliness at the hotel consistently impresses with both rooms and common areas being spotless and well-maintained. The welcoming and friendly staff significantly enhance the guest experience, praised for their exceptional hospitality, approachability and helpful nature.
While the wifi service leaves room for improvement, being more stable in the breakfast room but less reliable in rooms, the overall experience remains positive. Parking can be a minor challenge with no on-site dedicated parking, but nearby public parking options are available, some free and some paid.
The comfort of the beds receives mixed reviews; some find them comfortable, while others feel they could be harder or less supportive. Despite this, the overall sentiment towards the accommodations is positive.
Ideal for honeymooners, Chasa Valär offers a peaceful and cozy atmosphere with a quaint, picturesque setting, perfect for couples seeking a serene retreat. The hotel’s inviting environment and characterful neighborhood ensure a delightful and unique stay.
