The Washington Dulles Airport Marriott is a highly recommended option for travelers due to its strategic location, just minutes away from the airport terminal, accessible via a frequent and complimentary shuttle service. This convenience, combined with free parking and nearby car rental facilities, makes it an ideal choice for those with early or late flights.
The hotel consistently receives praise for its cleanliness with guests highlighting the spotless, spacious and comfortable rooms. The soundproofing is notably excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay, while the beds are described as particularly cozy and conducive to rest. Some even appreciate the modern features and the overall aesthetic appeal of the courtyard and lobby areas. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by exceptionally friendly and professional staff who enhance the overall experience with their warmth and efficiency, especially those at the front desk and restaurant.
Dining at the hotel garners mixed but generally positive feedback. Breakfast is seen as high quality with particular dishes like egg white frittata and breakfast potatoes receiving accolades, although the value for money and service structure could improve. Dinner experiences vary, but the friendly service and availability of room service are consistently appreciated.
Despite minor issues, such as occasional noise, dated interiors or minor maintenance concerns, the hotel's positive aspects largely outweigh any negatives. The WiFi policy, which requires an additional fee, is a notable drawback, as many guests expect free internet access, especially at premium pricing tiers.
Overall, the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott delivers a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent staff service, clean and spacious rooms and amenities that cater well to travelers, particularly those needing easy access to Dulles Airport.
