The hotel is located close to several restaurants and bars, making it an easy stroll back to the room after a drink or two. However, guests have reported mixed experiences with the hotel's own bar and party scene. While some loved the bar/club and found it great, others reported being disappointed with the bar closing early, around half 8, on certain nights during their stay. Noise from parties and loud music/singing disrupted sleep on more than one occasion with some parties going on until late in the night (11.30pm). Unfortunately, some guests were also disappointed to find no entertainment, despite it being listed on the website. Despite this, others appreciated the fact that they could easily access a nearby pub, but the noise levels at night resembled busy chain pubs like Wetherspoon. Overall, while there are some mixed reviews regarding the nightlife around the hotel, guests who prioritize being close to town and don't mind some noise may find The Heritage Hotel to be an enjoyable stay.
