Complaints about cleanliness were common with multiple mentions of dirty bathrooms, stained sheets and an overall neglected condition. There were specific mentions of mold, stale smoke odors and even sightings of cockroaches. Several reviews called attention to water damage and the need for major remodeling and painting. Some reviews highlighted the cleanliness of the beddings and the overall quietness and convenience of the location. However, a few guests reported issues such as stained sheets, bugs and lack of adequate blankets, which detracted from their experience. Despite these occasional negative remarks, the overall sentiment towards the bed comfort was positive.
Cleanliness

Guests have reported issues with roaches, mold and mildew smells, describing it as very dirty and even filthy. The rooms, bathrooms and hallways were often cited as being especially unclean with specific mentions of stained bed sheets and carpets. The hotel also faced criticism for outdated facilities and visible damage, such as leaks in the ceilings and unsafe locks. Despite these extensive negative remarks, a few guests did note some potential. However, there were also numerous criticisms regarding the pool's maintenance. Issues such as the pool being closed for over a year, unusable conditions and reports of it being disgustingly dirty and green were mentioned. The pool's cleanliness appeared to be a recurring issue with some guests noting floating debris and sewage-like conditions, while others commended its excellence but suggested it required better cleaning.
Despite these issues, the overall amenities and location of the hotel were well-received. Many found the room spacious and tidy and appreciated the convenient location close to the Arlington Diner.
