Location
Nestled in an idyllic countryside with lakes, trees and paddocks filled with horses, Walnut Tree Glamping is situated in a beautiful location that provides lovely views and tranquil surroundings. The space between each tent is just nice, giving you ample privacy to enjoy the scenery. The area is calm and peaceful with a lake and woods nearby that offer nature trails and extraordinary scenery. You'll love the lake view and surroundings and the staff will help you with anything you need. Plus, its convenient closeness to Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate makes it an exceptional place to stay with incredible views that will take your breath away. However, getting to the glamping site could be a bit challenging as it's situated on a hill and in an extremely remote area. You may also have to contend with the railway, which is close by, causing trains to regularly go past right into the night and then early again the next morning. Despite these minor inconveniences, the location/views are beautiful and the scenery is absolutely amazing.

Rooms
Walnut Tree Glamping offers a unique camping experience with comfortable and cozy tents ready with fresh clean beds, clean sheets and blankets. Although some guests found the facilities basic and without proper toilets or showers, the tents were praised for being clean and spacious with ample room for families. The yurts were a particular highlight with huge, clean and comfortable beds. However, some furniture provided with the tent was dirty and not fit for purpose and the tents were close together without much privacy. Despite these minor issues, Walnut Tree Glamping is an adorable and comfortable accommodation that makes you feel at home in a lovely paddock area.

Beds
Walnut Tree Glamping offers a unique sleeping experience with just mattresses placed on the floor, topped with cozy bed covers. Despite not having traditional beds, most guests found them to be comfortable and clean with ready-made bedding provided. However, a few guests expressed concern over the cleanliness of the bed sheets and inappropriate bedding colors. For those who prefer traditional beds, it should be noted that Walnut Tree Glamping does not offer them, as all mattresses remain on the floor. Overall, guests enjoyed the comfortable sleeping arrangements at Walnut Tree Glamping.

Cleanliness
Walnut Tree Glamping has received mixed reviews about their cleanliness. While some guests found the tents to be clean, cozy and comfy, others reported dirty and disgusting facilities - from dirty cups and plates to filthy toilets, swimming pool and hot tub. A few guests complained that the toilets and shower rooms could be cleaner and that the porta loos were not cleaned once during their stay. There were reports of rubbish in one of the beds and carpets that were absolutely filthy. Some guests did find the water in the hot tub and pool to be super clean, but others complained about them being dirty and not fit for use. However, the kids' paddling pool was also filthy and deflating. Some guests appreciated the daily frozen packs for the portable fridge and a new bag of charcoal every evening. Overall, while Walnut Tree Glamping has its charm, guests should be prepared for a mixed experience when it comes to the cleanliness of the facilities.

Pool
The pool area at Walnut Tree Glamping is a mixed bag according to recent guest reviews. While some rave about the large garden pool and hot tub, especially during a hot summer morning, others find it unfit for use due to poor maintenance. Guests recommend a rethink on ways of keeping the pool clean, including running the filter every night. A few were disappointed to find dead horse flies in the pool and several complaints were made about a lack of cleanliness in both the swimming pool and the inflatable jacuzzi/pool. Despite these negative comments, some guests still managed to enjoy the pool and hot tub with kids having a great time. However, others found the experience unpleasant with deflating paddling pools adding to their disappointment.

Outdoor Pool
Guests at Walnut Tree Glamping have mixed opinions about the outdoor pool. While some describe it as magnificent and great for a refreshing dip on a hot day, others were disappointed to find it dirty and filled with dead insects. The hot tub was a highlight for many, although some struggled to keep it clean with children around. The movie room and horse-related activities were also popular with guests. Families with younger children can enjoy the outdoor play area and small paddling pool, although some found the latter to be dirty and deflating. Suggestions were made for the hotel to rethink strategies for keeping the pool clean. Overall, the pool and hot tub seem to be hit or miss depending on individual experiences.
