The location is convenient and peaceful with open farmland right outside and plenty of parking space available. The rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean with good quality bedding and towels. The hotel has a homely feel with lovely decor and period features and some rooms have beautiful views. The staff are friendly and helpful with excellent communication and accommodating nature. While breakfast is no longer served due to COVID-19, guests can bring their own or visit a recommended farm shop nearby. The beds are comfortable with some guests calling them the best ever and there is free WiFi and parking available. While there were some isolated incidents of small or basic rooms, dirty sheets or towels and insufficient amenities, overall Boston Lodge is a clean, comfortable and tidy hotel with a pleasant ambiance.
