Hotel Ma'xanab Tulum is a lovely boutique hotel situated right next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. Despite seaweed and sea urchins along the coastline making entering the sea difficult, the hotel clears their part of the beach daily, ensuring guests can still enjoy the dreamy and comfy beach. The beach club/restaurant staff provides a great beach set up with cozy cabanas, day beds and beachfront restaurants overlooking the pristine beach. Guests can relax on their assigned daybed, stroll down to the private beach area or walk directly from their terrace to the beach. Some members of the staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing a lovely happy birthday gift and card. However, there were reports of a huge seaweed problem in the area and some guests were often disturbed by vendors on the beach. Despite this, most guests would definitely come back and recommend staying here to enjoy the location, aesthetic, beach set up and great food.
