Bastion Hotel Vlaardingen offers a straightforward and practical stay that generally aligns with its three-star rating. Guests appreciate the good price-quality ratio and find it to be very good value for money, making it a sensible choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize cost over luxury. While the hotel is new, with some construction and gardening work still in progress, visitors have noted that it meets expectations for a simpler accommodation. The location is well-received, adding to its appeal as a convenient and affordable option.
However, it's important to manage expectations as the hotel doesn't offer the extravagance or amenities typically associated with higher star ratings. Instead, guests should anticipate a no-frills experience where essential needs are adequately met, embracing the notion of getting what you pay for. While some reviews question the star rating, the overall consensus seems to suggest that for those seeking basic and reasonably priced accommodation, Bastion Hotel Vlaardingen fits the bill.

Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport offers a very convenient location, situated just steps away from the airport, making it an ideal choice for travelers with early flights or layovers. Guests highlight the cozy ambiance and appreciate that it meets the expectations of a standard three-star hotel. However, there is a mixed consensus on the overall quality and services provided.
While some visitors enjoyed their stay and described it as an efficient option for an overnight stop, others found the facilities lacking in cleanliness and not reflective of a three-star rating. Complaints ranged from dirty rooms with stains on the walls to small, boring spaces that were considered too simple for the price charged. Parking fees were also noted as being quite high. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel managed to deliver an overall experience that some guests found satisfactory for short stays.

Mr. Lewis Rotterdam presents an interesting choice for travelers seeking a brief stay, offering good value for money in terms of both price and the quality of accommodation. Guests find the location convenient, with ample paid parking options nearby, making it suitable for those planning to explore Rotterdam for a few days.
The hotel provides comfortable rooms, although guests have noted some discrepancies in amenities. For instance, while the rooms are equipped with conditioner and body lotion from a high-quality brand, the absence of essential toiletries like shampoo and shower gel is a drawback. Some have pointed out that the lack of bathrobes and slippers detracts from the overall experience, especially considering the price. Additionally, room temperature and bedding have been mentioned as areas needing improvement.
The self-service check-in is appreciated for its ease, though guests unfamiliar with the procedure may encounter challenges. The communication from the hotel has been described as excessive, with numerous emails potentially overwhelming guests rather than aiding them.
While the location and basic comforts adhere to three-star standards, some guests feel the level of service does not quite match the cost, comparing it with similar properties that offer more personal contact or amenities at equivalent rates. Nevertheless, Mr. Lewis Rotterdam stands as a viable option for modest stays where location and basic necessities are prioritized.
