While staying with the whole family in a double room may not be the best option, the atmosphere is fancy and professional yet still family-friendly. The hotel is located in a wonderful location for families and offers plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
The heated swimming pool is a big hit with both parents and children and our 12-year-old loved it. The hotel offers a lovely family break and the breakfast that is served is incredible. It’s no surprise that the kids enjoyed it a lot!
The group of six that stayed here found the hotel very comfortable for a couple with a child, making it incredibly special for them. While there may have been a small annoyance upon arrival when they couldn’t get into their room until 3:45, the hotel more than made up for it with its wonderful amenities.
If you’re a mum looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with the girls, this is also the perfect accommodation for you. Overall, the InterContinental Wellington is highly recommended for anyone traveling with kids or looking for a cozy city stay.
