The hotel offers great spa facilities that are clean and well-maintained. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful especially in the dining room. Although the breakfasts were variable, the hotel was welcoming and the rooms were great. However, some guests experienced a shortage of staff in the bar area. It's worth noting that some guests found that the dining experiences were poor and not value for money, despite the hotel being the best value in Sidmouth. In addition, some guests were disappointed that there was no ironing facility with their four-star room. Nevertheless, the high quality of rooms and service make this hotel very worthy of its four stars.
