The house is slightly further from the centre than ideal, but it's a great location for those who enjoy a short walk through a little wooded area. The harbour, shops and restaurants are about 15-20 minutes walk away or a short and reasonable taxi journey. It's a nice location with easy off-road parking and undisturbed sleep. Guests can also use the nearby park and ride or car parking by the harbour to reach the centre of Whitby. Overall, the Coal Merchant's House has a convenient location accurately described by the reviews.
